Chop YAM

Rooted in Nigerian-American cultural heritage; telling our own stories using denim.

Committed to innovation, functionality, aesthetic & community, Chop YAM seeks to re-imagine the quintessential puffer coat & produce outerwear staples using denim.

'Chop' means 'to eat'

Chop YAM is the brand and a call to consume and experience an all-encompassing level of heritage informed fashion.

COLORS, TEXTILES & LANGUAGE

Chop YAM injects Nigerian-American cultural heritage into the design process by using the denim textile, native language and cohesive color palettes reminiscent of founder Willis’ childhood times spent in Nigeria, America, Cote D'Ivoire and South Africa.
